On Friday, I visited St Martin’s school in Bradley where I was shown around by some of their pupils.
The head teacher Mrs Martin told me that the school is in the top 2% in the country for maths results at key stage 2. It’s a fantastic achievement. St Martin’s take their maths seriously and that will benefit the pupils throughout their careers. Well done to the school and thank you to all the teachers, parents and pupils for such a warm welcome.
