One of the great things about representing a manufacturing area like Wolverhampton South East is the great variety of products made here.  There is a fantastic tradition of creativity and ingenuity in the Black Country and we don’t talk enough about the great things that are still made here.

Hill and Smith started as a company making crash barriers for roads and has now developed into new fields including the protection of critical infrastructure and counter terrorism work.  The company has adapted and innovated and is now exporting public safety products around the world.  I enjoyed visiting and hearing about another Bilston success story.
