Last year, I met with Paul Johnson who is the father of Alfie Johnson. Alfie is a ten year old boy from Stourbridge and he was born with severe disabilities and in Alfie’s name, his parents and friends have set up the charity Friends of Alfie Johnson.

The focus of the charity is to help disabled children in Wolverhampton, Dudley and Sandwell.

I teamed up with Wolverhampton based coffee company Revolver Cooperative to raise awareness about Alfie’s case and children in a similar position. And also to raise some money for a good cause.

Revolver provided free coffee for all of my coffee mornings throughout 2018 and my generous constituents made donations at each event which totalled £300 for the year.

On Friday, we presented the cheque to the charity. I’d like to thank all my constituents who donated throughout the year and to Revolver Coffee for their support.
