Earlier this month, I signed Wolverhampton’s Stop Loan Sharks charter. There are many people on low income who sometimes find themselves in desperate financial need. Unfortunately, there are people who prey on that need and sometimes lend people money at extortionate rates.

Last week, Wolverhampton is launched its ‘Stop Loan Sharks’ charter to clamp down on these illegal loan sharks and I have signed the charter because no one should be making a gain out of other people’s financial desperation.
