I recently visited the WV Living development ‘Peascroft’, on Prouds Lane in Bilston with my colleage Councillor Olivia Birch.

WV Living was set up three years ago by Wolverhampton Council to increase the supply of much-needed high quality new homes in the city, building 1,000 in the first five years.

The site that they are building on in Prouds Lane is close to Bilston town centre and the development is within easy reach of many key amenities.

There is a mixture of affordable homes, market rent as well as private sales available and the properties range from apartments as well as two, three, and four-bedroom houses.

I was pleased to see the development progressing and look forward to seeing the first finished houses built this autumn. It’s important that housing continues to be built to meet the growing housing need in the city.
