On Friday 5th July Wolverhampton Labour had our annual summer party. We were grateful to be joined by Liam Byrne MP and Cllr Pete Lowe, both of whom are vying to become Labour’s candidate to be West Midlands Metro Mayor. We celebrated my colleague Eleanor Smith’s birthday and got to meet baby Thomas – Emma Reynolds’ six week old son. I am grateful to all the party members and supporters who came along. This is the three city MPs’ way of saying “thank you” to everyone who has sustained us through the year by campaigning, supporting events and being part of our party locally. It was a lovely relaxed evening and I hope everyone enjoyed it.
