On Friday Pat McFadden joined worshippers from Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara handing out food, langar, in the city centre. They are celebrating the 550th birth anniversary of the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Pat McFadden met with local young maths whizz Bei Salmon to congratulate her on her incredible achievement of gaining a grade 8 in GCSE mathematics this year at the age of 12!! She says her next challenge is a Physics GCSE.
Pat McFadden joined fellow runners and volunteers at the test event for the new Parkrun at East Park on 2nd November. The enthusiasm for the new Parkrun was certainly not dampened by the atrocious weather.
New Parkrun at East Park officially launches at 9:00am on Saturday 9th November.
