Pat McFadden MP was shown around the latest residential development on the new Bilston Urban Village by developers Countryside and City of Wolverhampton Council. Construction of almost 500 new homes is well under way and scheduled to be completed by Autumn 2021. One hundred and five of the new homes will be for social rent, managed by Accord Housing Association under a Section 106 agreement, the rest being a mixture of market rental and for private sale. Residents have already started moving in to their new homes with around seventy houses now occupied.
Pat McFadden MP said “It is great to see this derelict industrial land being brought back in to use. The regeneration is bringing much needed quality new homes to Bilston.”
