I recently visited Moseley Park School in Bilston North Ward with local Councillor Olivia Birch to plant some fruit trees in the new ‘Wellbeing garden’. The garden is part of Cllr Birch’s new community orchards project in Bilston North and will include a sensory garden, allotment and communal space.

It was great to speak to students and teachers about the work they were doing. This is a fantastic project and a great opportunity for students to learn more about horticulture, gain practical skills and reconnect with the food they grow. I look forward to visiting next year to see how things are progressing.
