I recently visited Howell road allotments with West Midlands Mayoral Candidate Liam Byrne MP and Councillor Beverley Momenabadi.

This is a fantastic project in the heart of Ettingshall ward and thank you to Tracey and the committee members who met with us and explained the amazing work they are doing. They also explained the difference the allotments have made to residents who were able to spend time safely working on their allotments and growing crops during the pandemic.

It was also great to learn about the community project by Bilston students from Prince’s Trust Wolvcoll and in support of the project we planted some fruit trees and crocus bulbs in the new orchard.
