On Saturday Business Minister and local MP Pat McFadden dropped in to the Young Enterprise Fair at the City's Wulfrun centre to back young entrepreneurs from a number of schools in the city. The pupils were there to see products ranging from homework aids to keep fit equipment to clocks made out of vinyl records.

The display was part of the Black Country leg of the Young Enterprise competition. The Winning school will go on to compete at regional level in the next round.
Pat said: "The creativity of the students is really fantastic. Teaching people about enterprise and starting a business is really important. The schools are doing a great job in getting the pupils to come up with brilliant ideas, then working out how to source them and market them. This is not just playing a game. These are real products with real potential. We are a creative country and when you see the enthusiasm of the pupils involved it gives real confidence for the future."
Among the schools taking part were Colton Hills, Wolverhampton Girls High school and St Edmonds school.
