It’s a programme run by the Department of Work and Pensions to help employers become more confident about hiring disabled workers. The emphasis was very much on thinking about what people can do rather than what they can’t do. There were a number of employers there who expressed an interest in finding out more about the scheme. All three Wolverhampton MPs attended to express our support in giving people with disabilities a decent chance of getting a job.
