With winter on the way and the nights already getting colder, it can be difficult to keep household energy costs under control.
On Saturday 12th November, Pat teamed up with Wolverhampton Homes to host his annual Utilities Advice Day at Bilston Community Centre, the aim being to help constituents find the best possible deals for water, gas and electricity bills.
There were representatives from several energy companies including npower, E.ON, EDF, Severn Trent and U-Switch. They gave free and confidential advice to constituents on how to save money on their bills this winter.
Speaking ahead of the event, Pat McFadden MP said:
“Winter is coming and for the next few months a lot of people will find it harder to make ends meet because of high energy costs. I know some people fear using their heating as much as they should because of the cost. I want my constituents to have the best energy bill deal possible and that’s why I have organised the Utilities Advice Day.”
