I am very grateful to National Express and Transport for West Midlands for listening to the concerns that Councillor Linda Leach and I raised on behalf of our constituents. We had a lot of approaches from people saying that the inability to board the 39 bus at Bilston bus station was causing great inconvenience to them. Councillor Leach and I met with both National Express and Travel for West Midlands and urged them to restore a service to and from Stowlawn from Bilston Bus station, using the bus station as the drop off and pick up. That is now happening. This makes it much easier for shoppers and visitors to Bilston town centre who use the number 39 bus service.
