Earlier this month, alongside the Sight Loss Council and the Thomas Pocklington Trust, I joined the other two Wolverhampton MPs in mirroring what it may be like to be blind or partially sighted. We were blindfolded and guided around the station which allowed us to explore accessibility issues at Wolverhampton Station.

We have agreed to support any bids put forward by the different organisations we met today which would allow the train station to become more accessible to blind and partially sighted people.

Thank you to everyone who was with us today and is working hard on raising these issues.

Pictures will follow shortly.
