Earlier this month, I joined Dicky Dodd and a room full of inspirational individuals from across the Black Country at the Express and Star’s Great Big Thank You awards. We celebrated the truly amazing community heroes with awards such as ‘volunteer of the year’ to ‘teacher of the year’. The finalists and winners are all people who dedicate much of their lives to helping others. I was particularly pleased to see some of Bilston’s residents nominated for different awards. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners!
