Last year, I attended the launch of Ebay UK’s partnership with Wolverhampton. It is an exciting opportunity for the city. We have a great tradition of creativity locally and this partnership can help local businesses reach more customers.
The offer from Ebay to the businesses involved equips them with skills to learn how to build their offer on Ebay and sell more products, bringing more prosperity to Wolverhampton and hopefully creating local jobs. How people buy things is changing and we need to make the most of new opportunities.
One of the businesses that I met at the event was Goodstart Jones. I visited them earlier this month in my constituency to see how they were getting on. It was great to hear the inspiring story behind Goodstart Jones who are innovative backpack designers in Wolverhampton.
