Watoto Children’s Choirs have travelled extensively since 1994, sharing a message of hope for Africa’s most vulnerable children and women. On almost every day of the year, the choir is performing somewhere in the world. That means thousands of people get to meet some of our future leaders. People see their smiles and are embraced by their hugs.
The choir serves many purposes. It raises awareness about the work of Watoto globally. It’s also leadership training for our children, providing a strong sense of responsibility while experiencing different cultures. More importantly, it’s a they share their faith with people around the world.
A few weeks ago, I was privileged to watch Watoto perform for the second time in my constituency at Excel Church in Ettingshall. It was a vibrant and uplifting concert as always and I was joined by hundreds of children from various schools in my constituency. A big thank you to Duk and Dan from Excel for bringing this wonderful choir to my constituency and raising awareness of their cause.
