On Friday I visited Christ Church in Coseley, I was extremely sad to hear that on 20 February 2017 the Church was broken in to.

The Church was damaged and several hundreds of pounds of silverware was stolen. This is devastating news for Reverend Emma Stanford and the local community.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have helped with clearing up the day after the break in.  And I would also like to thank those for the donations that have already been made in order to replace the silverware which had real sentimental value to the community.

I would urge anyone with information about the break in to contact the police and also appeal to those of you who may be able to make a donation to support the Church, all money raised will be used to replace the silverware that was stolen and if enough money is raised then this will be used to invest in a new security system. Alternatively, if you are part of a Church or organisation who could donate silverware (including chalices etc.) then please contact Reverend Emma Stanford on 01902 687 283. Please follow the link below to donate;
