Pat helps launch HeadStart hub in Blakenhall to support young people who may be facing mental health issues

I recently attended the launch of the new HeadStart Wolverhampton community base at the Bob Jones Community Centre in Blakenhall. The launch coincided with a family fun day organised by Positive Participation.

This is one of four bases being opened in Wolverhampton and will cover the Blakenhall, All Saints, Parkfields and Ettingshall area. This is an excellent initiative which will provide a range of support services to help improve the emotional well-being of young people in our community.

It was a pleasure to present young people with their certificates for the work experience programme that they had been involved in. I am very excited to see how the work of HeadStart develops in my constituency.
