Who fly tips near a school?

Pupils at St Luke's CE Aided Primary School are outraged by the fly tipping near their school and wrote to me about it. I went along to the school today to investigate and talk to the pupils.

It is appalling that anyone would be so irresponsible and thoughtless as to dump this rubbish beside a school. There is no excuse for this sort of behaviour. The pupils and teachers are quite right to be outraged by this. I share their anger. I have contacted the Council and asked for the rubbish to be removed as soon as possible. However, more broadly we have to get the message across to people that this dumping of rubbish is unacceptable. It is a problem in various parts of the city and it denigrates the city. Those responsible should stop and stop now.
